2010 Special Events

Come join Encounter Niagara as we help The Niagara Falls State Park Celebrate their 125th Anniversary!

Encounter Niagara Tours will be bringing history alive this summer as we present several colorful, historic characters who have helped shape The Niagara State Parks and the Niagara Region. Meet Annie Edson Taylor, Nikola Tesla Augustus Porter and Frederick Law Olmstead and hear their first hand tales of Niagara.

Schedule of Appearances

Most characters will be located at and around Goat Island, ask at the information booths for specific locations and different character appearances. Starting July 3rd and running to Sept 5th, 2010.

Every Tues from 11-4pm*

Every Saturday from 12-5 pm

July 3rd & 4th 12-5 pm

Thursday July 15th 3-8 pm - Join us as we listen and enjoy the sounds of the Buffalo Philharmonic at the Niagara State Park

Saturday July 17th 11-4 pm - Come out join us at the parade!

September 3rd, 4th & 5th 12-5 pm
